"Reflection" is a relief, representational deductive sculpture that embodies a fish's image, using Perla soap as the medium of the artwork and carving technique using the sculpting tools to represent an ever-living symbol known for many centuries and cultures. It expresses the unconscious self of the artist's feelings and motives. The artwork aims to let the audience see the beauty inside through the reflection, reflecting their desires and emotions. In contrast, the artist's goal is to praise the beauty inherent in animals and natural shapes.
In general, fishes mirror one's emotions and subtle awareness, thoughts that he/ she is mildly aware of, but do not take them seriously in mind. The raw material itself suggests the artist carve forms: fissures in the soap that often guide the artist's work. She feels a palpable connection with the virgin material, guided by her inner vision, the properties of the material, and her emotions.

During carving, most planning and analysis are put on hold while her hands and intuition take over. The artist's hands are often in "auto-pilot" mode as she works her way to the figure she seeks to achieve. The primary tools she used are sculpting tools to refine the edges and have a clean look of the soap. Through carving, she decided to present unique challenges as she endeavored to incorporate the natural raw beauty of soaps into a finished piece. Minor details are further added to give the soap more recognizable features of a typical fish.

Seeking to create beautiful things has been the passion of the artist since childhood. She initially fell in love with the carving concept from the moment her father showed her how to carve a bar of soap with a small knife. From her childhood days of soap bars, the carving is the vehicle that she chose to express her natural beauty aesthetic.
